Working almost exclusively in oil, my ambition is to paint a broad range of subject matter so I can best express myself with whatever responses and emotions I feel at the time.
Pat Parkinson grew up in upstate New York, began her art training at college there and worked as a commercial illustrator before moving to the West Coast. Pat has furthered her art studies with William Reese and the late Sergei Bongart and at the Scottsdale Art Scool in Arizona. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards and has exhibited in many juried shows. Representative works are displayed in various corporate collections in the Northwest, as well as private collections throughout the United States.
